Primary role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect with over 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure as code, automation, and best practices in cloud architecture.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Azure cloud services.
Design robust, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices for Azure cloud solutions.
Lead and participate in the implementation of Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Resource Manager.
Implement security controls and best practices to ensure data protection, identity management, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and delivery processes.
Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Azure cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on Azure best practices, architecture principles, and emerging technologies.

Job Requirement

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
Expertise in Azure services including but not limited to Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Databases, and Identity.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Resource Manager.
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, Load Balancing, and Firewall.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed cloud environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect would be nice have.
