Primary role:

As a Manager, Finance, you will add value to business with appropriate internal financial controls, accurate and timely  financial reporting, process standardization and implementing controls on cost control.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and co-ordinate for Odessa Group audit completion as per USGAAP and its subsidiary in India.
  • Periodic Investor, Board and Lenders Reporting Preparation.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and year-end regional and corporate reporting deliverables are completed within stipulated timelines.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements and ledgers of Odesa & its legal entities.
  • Oversee the Balance Sheet review and reconciliation processes in compliance with Corporate policies and procedures.
  • SPOC for Revenue Accounting as per ASC 606 and related USGAAP standards.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable sub-functions within the Financial Accounting team.
  • Adherence to timeliness and accuracy in book closing and reporting.
  • Revenue Assurance Utilization vs Billing and to ensure no revenue leakage.
  • Non-payroll cost budget forecast and rolling forward.
  • Ensure statutory filing timelines are met including audit, taxation, GST and corporate secretarial requirements.
  • ERP migration and Automation of routine workflows.
  • Record Management - Safety and retrieval of Records.
  • Continuous review of Financial Accounting Processes by challenging, analysing and testing established methods, practices and procedures to validate their effectiveness; recognize continuous improvement opportunities and tackle these areas proactively.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with other business functions.
  • Act as an influencer to drive common business initiatives and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Job Requirement

Basic qualifications:

  • Qualified Charted Accountant (CA) with 8 plus years of experience. 
  • Hands on experience in financial reporting and accounting. 
  • Excellent financial and accounting knowledge and skills supported by academic and  professional qualifications, ideally with experience within medium to large sized  organizations. 
  • Strong analytical, time-management, inter-personal and communication skills. 
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.  Effective team player. 
  • Knowledge and experience with US GAAP, IFRS & IGAAP. 
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606) concepts and preferably experience  in a business environment where varying revenue recognition treatments are applied. 
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems.
